The Northern Science Park is to be a center for connecting research, applied development, and complete services. This should bring all scientific and technological knowledge together to promote development of the competitive potential among industries, businesses, and local entrepreneurs in northern Thailand. The country’s resources and capacities will be developed prosperously and the country, consequently, will be the leader and the center of economic and social development in the Great Mekong Sub-region, which consists of China, Burma, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand.
